Cooperation Experience

As a subsidiary of Baowu Group, Ningbo Baosteel has always focused on product quality, and accordingly, we are also very picky about processing technology and equipment. Belt-supported laser blanking technology has always been something we've been very interested in, but we haven't seen any equipment that has implemented this technology.

In 2018, Ningbo Baosteel publicly tendered for the laser blanking project, and that's when we first came into contact with Kudi No.2 Machine. When we visited the Kudi No.2 Machine factory and saw the prototype of the country's first belt-supported laser continuous blanking production line, we were particularly excited.

After careful investigation and research, we finally reached a cooperation agreement with Kudi No.2 Machine. We purchased Kudi No.2 Machine's CEP-001 belt-supported laser continuous blanking production line, mainly used for small household appliances and kitchenware, such as the sheet metal blanking of kettles and washing machines.

Since the project went into production in 2018, more than two years have passed, and the equipment has been operating well, and Kudi No.2 Machine has been providing us with high-quality technical support and follow-up services.

Jointly Tackling Challenges

During the more than five months that Kudi No.2 Machine's equipment was being installed and commissioned, we were essentially living and working together, overcoming many problems together. This kind of integration was necessary and valuable, ensuring that both sides could achieve resonance.

From the production, delivery, and commissioning of the equipment to its successful commissioning, Ningbo Baosteel and Kudi No.2 Machine fought side-by-side for more than five months. This close daily interaction deepened our fondness for Kudi No.2 Machine, and we are very happy with our initial decision.

Through Kudi No.2 Machine, we have gained a greater and deeper understanding of belt-supported technology and laser blanking technology, and we are also very impressed by Kudi No.2 Machine's professional and dedicated team.

For any problems we encounter during equipment use, Kudi No.2 Machine's professional team will provide solutions immediately. At the same time, when Kudi No.2 Machine has new technologies or solutions, they will communicate with us, ensuring that our production line is always in a state of innovation and upgrading.

In terms of equipment maintenance and service throughout its lifecycle, Kudi Makes us feel very relieved, reassured, and happy.

Future Outlook

As a processing center, we often receive many customized, small-batch order requirements. If Kudi No.2 Machine's equipment could make breakthroughs in the following areas, it would be a great benefit:

1. Laser blanking of thick plates. Able to perform laser blanking on steel plates with a thickness of 10-40 mm to meet the needs of the machinery equipment industry.

2. Flexibility. Able to perform mixed-line blanking of workpieces of different shapes and specifications, not only improving the yield but also ensuring that the number of workpieces matches the product, simplifying production management.

3. Standardization. The operator inputs the workpiece shape, material grade, thickness, and width, and the system automatically generates the cutting path and various control parameters of the blanking line, making the operation of the blanking line standardized and simplified.
