Hard Power: Defying the Cold, Kudi's Second-Generation Laser Equipment Operates Smoothly Year-Round
2025-06-11
The first fully automatic dynamic continuous laser blanking production line in Northwest China - Kudi's second machine CEP001, has been operating smoothly since its acceptance and commissioning in 2019, enduring both harsh winter cold and scorching summer heat.
For automotive sheet metal laser cutting, I choose Kudi secondary equipment.
Recently, the workshop of Kudi's No. 2 machinery factory has been bustling with activity. A CEP001 belt-supported continuous blanking production line equipped with a double-cutting head is carrying out high-strength steel automotive sheet blanking and processing work in an orderly manner. Kudi's No. 2 machinery factory, which has always regarded the automotive blanking industry as an important business segment, recently reached a cooperation agreement with a domestic automotive parts company on the processing of high-strength steel automotive sheet blanking parts. This company is preparing to launch a laser blanking production line, and during the market research process, it conducted an in-depth understanding of Kudi's No. 2 machinery factory's technology and products, expressing great interest. As an equipment manufacturer, Kudi's No. 2 machinery factory has a physical equipment production line in its factory workshop. By providing "processing with supplied materials" services, it helps customers more intuitively and vividly experience the performance and quality of Kudi's No. 2 machinery factory's equipment. After visiting and understanding, this automotive parts company signed a contract with Kudi's No. 2 machinery factory for a total of more than 100 tons of automotive sheet processing orders. This poses stringent requirements on the mass production capacity, flexible processing capabilities, and damage-free cutting efficiency of Kudi's No. 2 machinery factory's laser blanking equipment. So, what kind of answer did Kudi's No. 2 machinery factory give? Since the signing of the project, through Kudi's No. 2 machinery factory's professional technical team's comprehensive design of the overall solution and further optimization of the cutting process, in just 7 days, it not only completely exceeded the customer's production capacity requirements, but the overall damage-free cutting (no scratches, no dust, etc.) and process quality also exceeded customer expectations. Currently, the A-pillar reinforcement plate, 3 rolls with a width of 1285mm, has been processed. The front floor center channel reinforcement plate is currently being processed. The processed automotive parts are precise in size and superior in quality, and have been highly recognized by the customer.
